Sacred Games Season 3 : all you need to know

The series was released in 2018. It proved itself to be binge worthy with the rating of 8.6/10 on IMDb. The thriller series has come to be one of the most watched and loved series of all times. The series has a star studded star that includes Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Saif Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, Radhika Apte, Kalki Koechlin and many more and people can’t get enough of it. Sacred Games season 3 is likely to have the same cast.

What we know about Sacred Games Season 3.

Even though the series has already come out with 2 seasons, people want more. Everybody has been eagerly waiting for Sacred Games season 3. The last season ended with cliffhangers such as if Inspector Sartaj Singh (played by Saif Ali Khan) would be successful to defuse the bomb. Whether Satraj can save the city from gangster Ganesh Gaitonde as previously we saw police officer Sartaj in Mumbai receives a phone call from Gaitonde.
People are coming up with their own theories for the season. They can’t wait to find out how it’s gonna turn out.
However, the fans might be in for a heartbreak. No one for now knows about the release date for season 3. We don’t even know whether it’s going to take place or not. Although from what we’ve heard, it’s unlikely that it will.

What the cast says on the matter.

Pankaj Tripathi has recently revealed that he has completed his responsibilities towards the show.
“I have finished my share of work. I have had a packed schedule. So, I have completed my responsibilities and moved on because I have long outdoor schedules,” Pankaj Tripathi said.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui who plays the role of Ganesh Gaitonde in the series has also ruled out the possibility of season 3. “Whatever had to be said from the original novel has already been saying. There is nothing left…,” Nawazuddin Siddiqui said.

Will Sacred Games season 3 happen?

So it seems the possibilities for Sacred Games season 3 are low for now since Netflix has also not said anything on the matter. There’s also nothing left in the novel to reveal as Nawazuddin Siddiqui mentioned.
Sacred Games is based on Vikram Chandra’s 2006 novel of the same name. This is the first Netflix’s Indian series directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap. The series produced under the banner of Phantom Films.
