Remembering Bollywood’s Exceptional Talented Music Director-Singer Wajid Khan

Wajid Khan of the famous Sajid-Wajid’s duo passed away on 31 May. The talented 42-year-old musician had kidney and heart problems. His brother Sajid Khan confirmed, “Wajid passed away due to cardiac arrest”, after testing positive for coronavirus.

Music director Salim Merchant, Wajid’s close friend earlier informed about Wajid Khan being hospitalized a few days ago at Surana Hospital in Chembur suburb telling, “He had multiple issues.” “He had a kidney issue and had a transplant a while ago. But recently he got to know about kidney infection…he was on the ventilator for the last four days, after his situation started getting worse.”

On the loss of his death, several Bollywood actors have shared grief regarding it.

Bhaijaan Salman Khan was his close friend tweeted “Wajid Vil always loves, respect, remember n miss u as a person n ur talent, Love u n may your beautiful soul rest in peace …”

Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “Shocked at the passing of Wajid Khan … a bright smiling talent passes away … duas , prayers and in condolence”.

Arjun Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor, Kapil Sharma, and many other celebrities took to Twitter to express their grief.

Likewise, Red Chillies Entertainment tweeted expressing the great loss for the industry.

Oscar-winning, A.R Rahman also tweeted remembering the music composer-singer Wajid Khan.

As a matter of fact, Sajid-Wajid got their first break in Salman Khan’s movie.Over the years, Sajid-Wajid had mostly been successful when composing for Salman’s films.

Wajid Khan had worked with Salman Khan and composed music in several films for him that included a list of these hit movies like Hello Brother, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge, Garv, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, God Tussi Great Ho, Partner, Wanted, Main Aurr Mrs Khanna, Veer and Dabangg (1, 2 and 3) and many more.

Wajid Khan had given us several big hits like  Soni De Nakhre, Jalwa, Hud Hud Dabangg, Fevicol Se and Chinta Ta Ta Chita Chita.
