Five relatives of Sushant Singh Rajput killed in road accident in Bihar

The vehicle they were travelling in crashed with a truck on National Highway number 333 in Bihar’s Lakhisarai district on Tuesday morning, killing five members of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput extended family.

The family was returning from Patna, where they had attended the death rites of Geeta Devi, senior Haryana police officer OP Singh’s sister. Sushant Singh Rajput brother-in-law, OP Singh, died in questionable circumstances on June 14, 2020.

Laljit Singh, his two sons Amit Shekhar alias Nemani Singh and Ram Chandra Singh, his daughter Baby Devi, niece Anita Devi, and the driver Preetam Kumar have all been identified as the deceased.

Om Prakash Singh, a top Haryana Police officer, was Laljit Singh’s brother-in-law. Sushant Singh Rajput’s brother-in-law is OP Singh.

The victims were on their way back to Jamui after attending the funeral of Geeta Devi, OP Singh’s sister.

Balmukund Singh and Dil Khush Singh, two of the injured, have been taken to Patna for medical care, while Balmiki Singh and Tonu Singh have been brought to the Lakhisarai district hospital. The bodies of the deceased were taken to Lakhisarai Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
