Turner was cast as Sansa Stark a young noblewoman, in the HBO fantasy drama series Game of Thrones in August 2009. Filming began in July 2010, when Turner was 14 years old. Sansa is Turner’s first television role. It was her drama teacher who encouraged her to audition for the role. She was nominated for the Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV show – supporting young actress for her role as Sansa in 2012.

In 2013, Turner bagged her first movie role as the lead character in the movie Another me based on the novel of the same name by Catherine MacPhail. After that, it’s been an uphill ride for her.

Turner gives a nuanced performance as someone who is acutely aware of the danger she poses to her loved ones, but at the same time, is unable to control their own destructive potential. She hits a good balance between the confident and vulnerable sides of the Jean Grey character.

3. The Thirteen Tale.

The Thirteen Tale is a British drama television film that first broadcasted on BBC Two on 30 December 2013. Sophie Turner played the role of teenage Vida, then known as Adeline March. Whenever she is asked about herself, she tells a different story. So she requests some verifiable information from the public record. Vida tells her that her birth name was Adeline March. The local newspapers wrote about a fire that burned down her family home when she was seventeen. She bears proof in the form of a key-shaped burn on her palm. Margaret satisfied that she is telling the truth this time. Vida begins to tell her the events leading up to the fire.

4. Barely Lethal.

The movie released in 2015. Turner plays a teenage special ops agent with a penchant for sarcasm and back-stabbing. Sophie Turner shows off her comedic side in the film. “My role is more stereotypical. It’s what you’d imagine a teenage mean girl to be like,” Turner said. “It’s like a chick flick teen movie, and it was quite exciting for me to play around with her and make her more comedic. She’s over the top.”

5. Another Me.

The movie released in 2013. Isabel Comixet directed the psychological thriller drama. Sophie Turner plays the role of Fay and her evil twin Lila. A mysterious double stalks her. The double is out to steal her identity and life is when her life slowly unravels.

6. Time Freak.

Time Freak is a 2018 American science-fiction comedy-drama movie. Andrew Bowler was the writer and the director of the movie. It was released in a limited release and on digital on November 9, 2018. Sophie Turner plays the role of Debbie in the movie.

7. Survive.

Survive is an American streaming television series. Richard Abate and Jeremy Ungar wrote the series. It was debuted on Quibi on April 6, 2020. It is based on the novel of the same name by Alex Morel. It’s a story of how plane crash survivors embark on a harrowing journey in the frozen north, battling brutal conditions and personal traumas.
