Ola Electric scooters worth Rs 1,100 crore were sold in only two days, and reservations will reopen in November.

Bhavish Aggarwal, the CEO of Ola Electric, claimed on Friday that the business has sold 1,100 crore worth of Ola electric scooters in only two days.

“Day 2 of the EV era was much better than Day 1!” Aggarwal said on Twitter. In only two days, we sold almost 1100 crore rupees! If you haven’t already, reserve immediately since the purchase window will reopen on November 1st.”

On the first day, the firm declared sales of over 600 crore, which it claims is more than the whole 2-wheeler market in India produces in a single day.

New customers may still make reservations for the scooter, and the next sale will take place on November 1st. The booking fee and procedure will remain same.

“While day 1 of purchase was quite unusual for us and the car industry, day 2 just continued where day 1 left off!” said Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal. Customers’ delight and passion for our items remained constant throughout.”

“Almost the course of two days, we have done over INR 1100 crores in sales!” he continued. This is a first not just in the automobile sector, but also in Indian e-commerce history, since it is one of the largest sales in a single day (by value) for a single product! We are, without a doubt, living in a digital India.”

“Day 2 of the EV era was much better than Day 1!” tweeted Aggarwal. In only two days, we sold almost 1100 crore rupees! If you haven’t already reserved, the purchase window will reopen on November 1st. Thank you for your love and faith, India. The revolution is you!”

He confirmed that reservations are still available on olaelectric.com, and that the buying window would reopen on November 1, 2021, just in time for Diwali. Those who reserved but did not purchase during the last session, which closed yesterday, will be able to do so on November 1.
