Chatrapal Singh and Ajay Kumar Singh, Vinay Kumar Singh’s two siblings, both passed the test in 1964. Shashikant Singh, the fourth brother, became an IAS officer in 1968. Chatrapal Singh also served as Tamil Nadu’s chief secretary.

Despite the fact that nearly every home in Madhopatti village has a member in the public service, the community’s appearance has remained unaltered. The village’s roads are potholed, medical services are inadequate, and electricity is scarce; in addition, there is no one coaching centre for IAS hopefuls.

The inhabitants of Madhopatti village have proven that Mahatma Gandhi was correct when he declared, “India lives in its villages.” Despite the lack of adequate educational facilities, this hamlet has demonstrated to the rest of the country that anything is possible with real devotion, hard effort, and attention.
