Mukesh Khanna: Said ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ as the Worst Show

Versatile Actor Mukesh Khanna recently expressed his views about television’s popular The Kapil Sharma Show. He shared why he did not join the recent Mahabharat cast reunion on the comedy show. Writing down all the complaints he had against the show.

Mukesh Khanna Shared His Feelings on Instagram

In an Instagram post on Sunday, Mukesh said that he was invited to the show but chose not to go. He wrote in Hindi, “This question has become viral, why Bhishma Pitamah was not there in the Mahabharata show? Some say he had not been invited. Somebody says he refused it himself. It is true that Mahabharata is incomplete without Bhishma that there is no question of not inviting and also true that I was the one to reject the invitation.”

Mukesh Khanna called the show Worst

Revealing why he refused the offer, the 62-year-old actor said that he thinks its the “worst show, full of vulgarity and double-meaning content”.

“Kapil’s show may be very popular, but for me, there isn’t a worse show than this. It is full of double-meaning dialogues, vulgarity in which the men wear women’s clothes, do cheap things and people laugh,” Mukesh Khanna remarked.

Mukesh Khanna also said about Archana Puran singh

He further took a dig at Archana Puran Singh, who is the special guest on the show and said, “Their job is to laugh, even if it’s fake.”

He also gave an examples of Arun Govil

In his concluding statement, Mukesh Khanna cited an example from the ‘Ramayan’ episode and the question Arun Govil, who played Lord Ram, was asked. The actor said that if he would have been at Arun Govil’s place, he would have shut up Kapil Sharma.

Meanwhile, Mukesh Khanna played Bhishma Pitamah in the 90s epic show ‘Mahabharat’. The show had Nitish Bharadwaj, Puneet Issar, Pradeep Kumar, Gajendra Chauhan, Gufi Paintal, and Arjun Firoz Khan who appeared in the Kapil Sharma show.
