9 Bollywood Actors Perfectly Fit these Roles in the Remake of Ramayan

Lockdown days are almost over in some parts of the country. Yet, it will take many more days when we say no more social distancing. In this prolonged battle against the coronavirus, the government came up with the idea to run classic shows on Doordarshan and out of all the shows, Ramayan grabbed the most attention of the viewers. Bollywood Actors for the remake of Ramayan:

Kunal Kapoor as Ram:

A pair of eyes that look like lotus, enormous physical and mental strength to win the war against Ravan, peaceful and yet charming nature admired by all – we think Kunal Kapoor would absolutely fit in the role of Lord Ram.

Kartik Aaryan as Laxman:

The mighty warrior Laxman is Ram’s shadow with steadfast devotion towards his brother. We think Kartik Aaryan can pull off the character of Laxman extremely well.

Alia Bhat as Sita:

To portray the role of Sita- the goddess of loyalty, dignity and courage, a powerful actor like Alia Bhat is our first choice. This is one of our favourite choice of Bollywood Actors in the remake of Ramayan.

Shweta Tripathi as Urmila:

The younger sister of Sita and the wife of Laxman, Urmila was a painter and a scholar. We think the Masan actress is apt for the role.

Pankaj Kapoor as Dasharatha:

An ace actor like Pankaj Kapoor justifying the tragic hero in Dasharatha will be a visual treat.

Tabu as Kaushalya:

After her iconic roles in Maqbool, Haider and Andhadhun, the complex character of Kaushalya will have many layers if we get to see Tabu playing this character.

Sonu Sood as Hanuman:

Much active in real life in the ongoing scenario, how can we forget the brilliant actor Sonu Sood, who best fits the strong character of Hanuman.

Chandrachur Singh as Kumbhkarn:

Though actor Chandrachur Singh has not been in the limelight for the past few years now, he is going to appear again in a Disney+ Hotstar web series. We think he can strongly portray the whacky character of Kumbhkarn in Ramayan too.

Asutosh Rana as Ravan:

Ashutosh Rana needs no special introduction when it comes to portraying the malicious villains. And we cannot think of any other Bollywood actor.  Only him doing justice to the ten headed-Ravan, who is both scholar and arrogant.
