Salman Khan Fans celebrate 11 years of wanted
Salman Khan Wanted movie completes 11 years in Bollywood and Fans can’t stop wait to celebrate it.
The action thriller movie was released in the year 2009. It was directed by Prabhudeva and produced by Boney Kapoor. It also starred Ayesha Takia as the female lead. Other cast included Prakash Raj, Vinod Khanna and Mahesh Manjrekar in important roles.
The film was commercial a box office success and made Salman Khan one of the most successful actors in Bollywood. The dialogue from the movie”Ek Baar Jo Maine commitment kar di toh mei Apne aap ki bhi Nahi sunta” was extremely popular amongst the masses. It began the new era of Mass Movie which runs till today. Salman’s Wanted began the trend of having Eid releases for him.

Also, this film was the official remake of telugu film ‘Pokiri’ which starred Mahesh Babu, Ileana D’cruz and Prakash Raj as main roles. Parakash Raj worked in both Wanted films and debut in Bollywood through the same movie only.
The music of the film became very popular. “Jalwa” and “Love Me Love Me” were declared the most successful tracks and topped the charts with its release.
The film got the award for Best Action in Filmfare and Star Screen awards and best film of the year at Stardust awards.
The audiences loved the powerful action and performances of the cast. They were impressed with Salman’s action skills. The film made in a time span of 2 years with a budget of 35 crores and earned around 65 crores at the box office.
Moreover, Ayesha Takia too got a positive response from the public as she came really after a long time in movies and people were quite impressed with her acting skills and charmness. Also, Prakash Raj became famous in Bollywood through his first film only. He done complete justice to the villain’s role and the audience loved his performance as an antagonist.
