NEET 2021 Paper LEAKED, candidate among 8 held by Jaipur Police

In a stunning NEET 2021 paper leak case, Jaipur Police arrested eight persons for cheating, including a NEET candidate. The answer key was provided by solvers after the paper was leaked on WhatsApp from the centre.

On Sunday, September 12, police in Jaipur detained eight people for cheating and leaking the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) question paper, including an 18-year-old candidate, her uncle, and an invigilator. On Sunday, the NEET test was held. The National Testing Agency (NTA), which administered the tests, has unequivocally refuted any accusations of a leak. The situation had turned into a social media firestorm, with several students alleging leaks and the hashtag #OperationNEET trending on Twitter.

Jaipur police have detained eight persons in a case of cheating and paper leakage during the National Eligibility Cumulation Entrance Test, NEET 2021. This includes a contestant whose family is said to have agreed to pay Rs. 30 lakh for the paper to be solved. Aside from the candidate, seven people have been arrested, including the centre’s in-charge, for allegedly leaking papers and cheating in the NEET exam on Sunday.

Dineshwari Kumari, an 18-year-old candidate, her uncle, invigilator Ram Singh, in-charge of the exam center’s administration unit Mukesh, and four others were arrested by police in connection with the cheating ring.

DCP Richa Tomar provided the circumstances of the occurrence when speaking about the case. The accused used his cellphone to send the paper to a solver at a different place who assisted with the answer.

She claims that once the exam began, accused Ram Singh and Mukesh used WhatsApp to send images of the exam paper to two guys at an apartment in Jaipur’s Chitrakoot neighbourhood, who subsequently transferred it to others in Sikar.

“The men (in Sikar) forwarded the answer key to the two men in Chitrakoot who then forwarded it to Mukesh. Mukesh then forwarded it to Singh. Singh helped Dineshwari solve the paper with the help of the answer key,” she said.

“The contract was finalised for Rs 30 lakh, with Rs 10 lakh to be given soon after the exam,” she explained. Outside the centre, the candidate’s uncle was apprehended with Rs. 10 lakh in cash. The money, as well as the phones, were seized, and the suspects were apprehended. A team has been dispatched to Sikar in order to apprehend the guys involved in the paper’s solution.

The police also arrested Anil, the proprietor of an e-Mitra centre, and the owner of a coaching centre in Alwar’s Bansur. Anil is said to have acted as a middleman, introducing the candidate and her uncle to others who helped assist the cheating.
