Patriotic Movies Which Filled Us With Pride For Our Country

I’ve always believed movies can change the world. In a world which churns out think-pieces, podcasts, extensive reportage by the minute, I’ve believed a well-made film with its audio-visual elements, can have a greater impact than any other source of media. Even when it comes to getting us riled up about our country when the hero upholds that Indian flag, it fills us with this pride about this intangible entity called India. Patriotic Movies Which Filled Us With Pride For Our Country are listed below.

Even if I died in the service of the nation, I would be proud of it. Every drop of my blood… will contribute to the growth of this nation and to make it strong and dynamic.

4. Rang De Basanti

This is one of the best Patriotic movies to watch upon. The story of six young Indians who assist an English woman to film a documentary on the freedom fighters from their past, and the events that lead them to relive the long-forgotten saga of freedom. A fancier version of telling the story of Bhagat Singh, the film’s narrative is rooted in current day Delhi University and explored parallels between how things would change if today’s youth were as driven as those in pre-independent India.
