5 Step guide to get Ola Electric Scooters delivered at Home

  1. If you have already paid the pre-booking fee, you may go to the Ola Electric website and select the version you wish to buy using your phone number. If you haven’t yet registered the scooter, you can pay a one-time fee of INR 499 to reserve it.
  2. After you’ve decided on the version you wish to buy, pick one of the ten colour selections. Ola has made it possible to change your mind about what you wanted when you booked your reservation.
  3. Then there’s the payment tab. You will now be required to pay your outstanding amount, which may vary depending on the option you choose. The equivalent monthly instalments (EMIs) for S1 scooters will begin at INR 2,999 per month for those who choose to finance their scooters. The EMIs for the upgraded version of the electric scooter, the Ola S1 Pro, would start at INR 3199.
  4. If you need help paying for your Ola S1, Ola Financial Services has partnered with prominent institutions like as IDFC First Bank, HDFC, and TATA Capital. TATA Capital and IDFC First Bank will process digital KYC and provide instant loans approvals to eligible customers on the Ola and Ola Electric apps, according to the company. HDFC Bank will provide pre-approved loans to eligible customers in minutes on the Ola and Ola Electric apps, according to the company.

In case you don’t need financing you can simply pay an advance of ₹20,000 for Ola S1 or ₹25,000 for Ola S1 Pro, and the rest when the company invoices your scooter to you. Down-payment and advance are entirely refundable but only till before the unit is from the company’s factory.
  5. A delivery date will be provided once the purchasing formalities are complete. Deliveries of Ola Electric scooters will start in October.

Ola Electric would keep its consumers informed about the wait time based on “where they are in the queue or when they have purchased exactly how many people purchased before them.”

It’s worth noting that you may insure your Ola Electric scooters using the Ola and Ola Electric apps. “For registration, a base policy of ‘1-year Own Damage and 5 years Third Party’ is required,” the firm says.

Test rides for the Ola Electric scooters will begin next month, according to Ola Electric.
