Haryana CM: Chautala promises to set-up libraries

Haryana Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala said that the Haryana government is planning to set up modern libraries.

Deputy CM said on Sunday, August 9 that it was for students in the rural areas if the panchayats provide some land for the same purpose.

The state government aims at ensuring students from villages don’t have to travel to the urban areas for competitive exams and to fulfill the educational requirements the government has planned to open libraries.

Moreover, Haryana CM added that the libraries opened in the villages would be equipped with computers for online education of students and all books related to competitive exams.

In addition to this statement, Haryana Deputy CM added that he has a set of opening modern libraries in every village.

Haryana CM Chautala, who also holds the panchayat portfolio called upon all village panchayats to give a room or two or some space in their villages for setting up libraries.

HARYANA DEPUTY CM STATEMENTS

“The state government will build a modern library at its own expense. The students in the rural areas can immensely benefit from these libraries,” he said.

He added,“In the education sector, we need to make full use of technology and the government is doing continuous work in this direction. The state government is taking steps in constructing Sanskriti model schools in each block on the pattern of central government model schools and to make primary schools bag free.”

The Deputy Chief Minister said that such a project had been needed for a long time for better education standards in rural areas and that he had been pushing for it since he became an MP.

Lastly, the deputy chief minister said the state government will initiate many other steps in the coming months for the betterment of education facilities in rural areas.
