When we talk of Indian crime web series, Karan Anshuman’s crime thriller Mirzapur’s name always comes at number one. Released in 2018, the crime web series proved to be the most original Indian series. Every actor’s performance from Pankaj Tripathi to Vikrant Massey was appreciated.
The story revolves around guns, drugs and anarchy spread by mafia people in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It depicts the story of two brothers, Guddu and Bablu, who forcefully joined the mafia gang and become violent criminals. Mirzapur completes its first season with nine episodes and promises to return soon with more thrills.

2) Sacred Games
Netflix’s original Sacred Games, one of the best Indian crime thriller to binge on. Based on the novel of the same name, Vikram Chandra, it completed its two seasons. But unfortunately, Netflix does not have a third season on its plate. Therefore, we speculate that fans will have to be content with only two seasons.
Sacred Games revolves around the story of the terror attack in Mumbai. The mastermind behind the attack is gangster Ganesh Gaitonde and Sartaj Singh, a loyal cop, has 25 days to stop the bomb blast in the city

3) Bard Of Blood
Another web series, Bard of Blood, based on Bilal Siddiqui’s novel, featured another side of Emraan Hashmi, as an intelligence officer. The seven-episode web series, directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, is produced under Shah Rukh Khan’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment.
The story revolves around former Indian intelligence agent Kabir Anand, who was starting his new life as a literature teacher after the uncertain death of his partner. But as the saying goes, ‘Once an agent, always an agent’, when duty calls, Kabir returns to rescue the intelligence officers captured by the Taliban.

Amazon prime original crime series, Breathe released in 2019 features R. Madhavan’s impressive performance. The first season ended with eight episodes following its sequel, Breathe: Into The Shadows, which premiered in July 2020.
Breath tells us a story of love and desperation, where a father extends his limits to do anything for his son. When Danny learns of the terminal condition of his son Josh, he sets out on an outrageous path to save him. The gripping plotline revolves around two men and how their lives set them on an unexpected path.

5) Delhi Crime
Delhi Crime follows Delhi’s most horrific rape case in 2012. Written by Richie Mehta, its episode was also premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Completed with seven episodes, Netflix renewed its second season with the same lead cast, but in the next part they will come up with a new crime story.
The story revolves around the aftermath of the crime, where DCP Vartika Chaturvedi is after the victim’s perpetrators.

The film’s story revolves around an investigating officer, Abhay, who has to rescue two missing children, Pooja and Raghu. Struggling with his own demons, Abhay uncovers the hidden dark world of crime in India.

8) The Final Call
The thrilling story of ‘The Final Call’ based on Priya Kumar’s novel I will go with you: The Flight of a Lifetime. Given the positive reviews of the series, Kumar is working on its second part.
The Final Call revolves around Captain Karan Sachdev, who decided to commit suicide with the flight passengers, risking their life. While airline officer, Kiran Mirza jumps in with the ATS team to rescue the passengers.

Crime thriller web series, Rangbaaz released in December 2018 and gained immense popularity from its first season and ended with nine episodes.
